The 2019 Pinot Noir showcases a beautiful ruby hue in the glass. Pleasant aromas of black cherry, red currants and hints of damp earth and rich dark chocolate. The palate exudes bright red fruit flavors of cherry and currants which are complemented by lively acidity and plenty of structure. The finish is bright with perfectly balanced acidity. This melds together fruit from multiple Willamette Valley AVAs into a clean, aromatic and gulpable style. Even at this young age the briary, peppery berry fruit is quite appealing, and the wine has already settled into a comfortable groove. It's got a bit of stuffing also, and should be enjoyed over the next half decade.
