Origin Italy, Tuscany, Rosso di Montalcino
100% Sangiovese. Alcoholic fermentation in inox tank and ageing 12 months in big barrows of French oak. Colour red intense ruby with reflections garnet. Fragrant with scents of small fresh fruits, bit dry with aromatic and persistent scents. Compact ruby red color with garnet reflections in appearance. Balanced and elegant bouquet, in which the fruit takes on dark tones (blackberry, black currant, blueberries) and a gentle spiciness accompanies nuances of cola, licorice and forest undergrowth. Exuberant and structured, with marked and rigorous sapidity- acidity combination, settling with very nice minerality. Pairs well with medium-structured dishes, such as first courses of pasta with meat sauce, poultry, mushrooms or truffles, risottos; main courses prepared with pork, veal with sauce and cheeses.

This has a savory, red-fruited character with hints of nutshells and leather. Medium-bodied, juicy and crunchy, with round tannins. Tense, bright and already attractive to drink. Drink now.

Dark earth tones, grilled herbs and dried black cherries smolder up from the 2022 Rosso di Montalcino. This is velvety in feel with rich wild berry fruits and masses of sweet spice, coming across as opulent yet balanced. It stains the palate in primary concentration. Sweet tannins and blackberry notes slowly fade.

The 2022 Rosso Di Montalcino opens to rich aromas of baked cherries, nutmeg, licorice, and dried herbs. On the palate, it's straightforward and easy-drinking, with good freshness and a clean, modest finish. This delicately savory Rosso is thirst-quenching and perfect for pizza or pasta nights. Enjoy it over the near term.
