Bright purple in color with expressive red fruit, floral aromas and a touch of spice. The wine is medium to full bodied, weighty and smooth, like a bowling ball on a silk pillow. Lodi is one of California's oldest commercial vine growing regions, dating back to the 1850s. Walk through the vineyards today and you will stumble upon thickly twisted 100 year-old vines that pre-date prohibition.
Bogle Old Vine ZinfandelCedar, juniper berry and sweet dried herbs greet the nose of this wine, while focused flavors of dried plums, cranberries and cherries sink into a decadent, plush mouthfeel. Saturated and dense, the wine finishes with touches of licorice and spicy oak from the 12 months in 2 year-old American oak barrels. Food Pairing: Grilled sausages with caramelized onions and peppers, tandoori chicken, gorgonzola cheese.

In this blissful landscape dotted with lofty redwoods between which morning fog slithers, precious grapes are collected and brought to the winery where they are fermented and aged for nine months in French and American oak barrels. This is no ordinary Pinot Noir.
