Bright purple in color with expressive red fruit, floral aromas and a touch of spice. The wine is medium to full bodied, weighty and smooth, like a bowling ball on a silk pillow. Lodi is one of California's oldest commercial vine growing regions, dating back to the 1850s. Walk through the vineyards today and you will stumble upon thickly twisted 100 year-old vines that pre-date prohibition.
Bogle Old Vine Zinfandel 2015For years, Bogle winemakers have sought out vines ranging in age from 60 to 80 years old for our Old Vine Zinfandel. These gnarly head- trained and dry farmed pioneers produce low yields of small, concentrated clusters of fruit, producing incredibly intense and flavorful wines. Greeted with sun-ripened raspberries and freshly ground white peppercorns on the nose, this Zinfandel is saturated with flavors of red berries and cranberries. Laced with a hint of savory herb in the background, the traditional tones of juniper lead to a full and ripe finish, while 12 months of aging in two year old barrels wraps the wine in spicy oak and a touch of vanilla wafer. 90+ Cellars Lot 75 Pinot Noir 2016This Pinot Noir is made from berries hand-picked from vines scattered about the lush hills and cool valleys of Sonoma's Russian River. In this blissful landscape dotted with lofty redwoods between which morning fog slithers, precious grapes are collected and brought to the winery where they are fermented and aged for nine months in French and American oak barrels. This is no ordinary Pinot Noir.
