If you're born to be mild, this ain't the wine for you. Biker is rowdy and rustic, perfectly at home at a rock concert or backyard bonfire. Take off your helmet, put on your headphones and prepare to be blown away. Biker Paso Robles Zinfandel is a bold statement of a wine. With powerful fruit and tannins comprised of old vine Paso Robles' Zinfandel (83%), but with the addition of Petite Sirah (9%), Primitivo (7%) and Syrah (1%), we blended this wine to be in-your-face and to keep you coming back for more. Known for its blackberry aromas, this wine also has notes of cherry, white pepper, plums and a hint of oregano, a touch of oak from barrel aging adds complexity. Subtle smoky char helps balance the concentrated fruit flavors of plum, cherry and boysenberries. This dynamic Zinfandel will not disappoint when paired with any pasta with red sauce, meat lover's pizza or braised short ribs. Vintage Information

Wine EnthusiastCherry pie with cloves, black loam, dark tobacco leaf and maple-flavored bacon aromas make for an inviting nose on this edgy wine. It's surprisingly light and airy on the palate, with decent grip, showing boysenberry and graphite flavors.

Wine AdvocateThe 2012 Zinfandel Biker is 100% Zinfandel from Paso Robles. This wine offers wood spice, barbecue notes, blacker fruits (slightly darker fruits than its sibling), medium body, good ripeness, and a fresh, pure finish. Drink it over the next 1-2 years.
