Chateau Mongravey Margaux 2013

We're sorry, but this product is not currently available.

This wine established in one of the most prestigeous area of Bordeaux, beautifully represents the Margaux Appellation. The cabernet sauvignon prevails and brings finesse and elegance, emphasized by the roundness of the merlot. The red berries aromas and a hint of liquorice, the so typical length from our terroir make of this wine the ideal companion to grilled meat and roasted poultry. Finally, this wine can be enjoyed for many years...Will reach maturity in 5 to 7 years. Château Mongravey can be laid down for 20 years.

Wine EnthusiastPerfumed wood dominates this wine, giving it structure and tannins. Juicy red fruits are still submerged beneath this welter of dryness. The wine needs time to integrate. Drink from 2019.

Wine SpectatorA gentle violet edge frames pretty red cherry and plum fruit flavors, with hints of lilac and black tea on the slightly trim finish. A good effort for the vintage. Drink now through 2017. 5,800 cases made.
