Cloudline Pinot Noir 2016
In the glass, Cloudline clearly conveys its Oregon roots. The color is a dark ruby red, the nose is layered and complex, and on the palate, one enjoys dark berry fruits, blue fruits, cola notes and a touch of spice. The finish is integrated and balanced. Sante ́! Pinot Noir is well-suited to pair with poultry, beef, fish, ham, lamb and pork. It will play well with creamy sauces, spicy seasonings and may just be one of the world's most versatile food wines.
Mossback Pinot Noir 2015The 2015 Mossback Pinot Noir is a blend of Russian River Valley fruit sourced from growers that winemaker Dan Cederquist has worked with for over 20 years. A great cherry and ruby red color in the glass leads to inviting aromas of black cherry, cream cola, licorice and vanilla. A soft, silky entry is followed by complex layers of fleshy plum, black cherry and vanilla. The 2015 Pinot Noir has a pleasingly long finish with lingering dark fruit and cocoa powder. This is a well-structured wine that is sure to please and will pair exceptionally well with pork and duck dishes.
